My first giveaway! I’ve been wanting to do one since last year, and now that I have some spare time and money enough to make it, I thought it was time to do it. It’s just my way to thank you all for putting up with me and with all my fandoms, which I know seem to be far too many and change from time to time, but the mainly ones are sticking, and they are what this giveaway is about. So, here’s the deal~
The Prizes:
- 4 handmade scarves. 1 TARDIS scarf (Doctor Who), 1 scarf resembling Sherlock’s (BBC Sherlock), 1 Gryffindor scarf and 1 Slytherin scarf (Harry Potter).
- The first place will get TWO scarves, their pick.
- The second place will get ONE scarf, also their pick (between the two left).
- The third place will get the last scarf.
If this gets reblog a lot I might even try and make Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff’s scarves, I’M NOT PROMISING ANYTHING because I’ll need to buy the material.
The Rules:
- Only TWO reblogs a day. I don’t want people’s dashboards getting clogged or anything. You may reblog as many days as you like, but only TWO times per day. I will be checking. And likes DO NOT count as entries, sorry!
- Anyone can reblog this, it’d be nice if you were part of the fandoms though, or at least part of one.
- I’m willing to ship worldwide. It doesn’t matter where you are from but when I pick the winners the shipping date will be due BASED ON THEIR LOCATION. I won’t have trouble in shipping it right away if the winners are from USA, Canada or even South America (I think) but if the winners are from any other country it might be delayed because of the costs. They will get their prizes anyway.
- You do not have to be following me to win, but if there are changes to the giveaway (such as adding more prizes) it’d be helpful if you were, just to keep track of them. Plus, I’ll be posting pictures of the scarves as I’m finishing them.
- You must be willing to share your address with me, and if you must, ask your parents for permission.
- Your ask box must be open, that’s how the winners will get notified. If the winner (when picked) doesn’t have their ask box open I’ll have to pick another one. The winners will have 12 hours to reply with their information, if they don’t, I will too pick another winner and so on until I have all the addresses of the winners.
- The giveaway ends on Saturday, June 23rd. I will pick the winners that night, so I will stop counting the reblogs around 9 PM (CST) I might inform the winners the same day if I can, if not, the next day.
- The winners will be chosen by a random number generator using random.org and once someone has won I’ll remove their name from the list to choose the next winner, and so on.
A huge thank you to Ana for making the cutest drawing for this!
My little boy David loves watching the Fantastic Four films, he especially loves Chris Evans and spends a lot of time playing at being Johnny Storm. I have to play the baddie and he defeats me. He’s got his walls covered with Johnny Storm pictures too and he knows all the lines. We were recently staying with my best friend Tom who lives in Manchester, England and found out that Chris Evans was coming to town. David was disappointed to find that we’d have already left before the film crew arrived so he sat down and made a card with some pictures for Chris Evans and wrote him a little note. I’ve never seen him sit so long at a table and concentrate! I wish I’d scanned it but I never thought. On the front he did a little picture of Johnny Storm flying across the sky and inside another picture of a scene from the first movie with some speech bubbles and he wrote a little note to Chris saying he was his favourite actor. His ‘uncle’ Tom promised he’d try to get it to Chris Evans for him.
Tom took the card to the film site but security was so tight that he couldn’t get near anyone so he left the card with a note saying who it was from and that he was sorry not to get to take a photo for David’s birthday which was soon. The security guy told him to write down his address and he’d try to find someone to pass it to but made no promises as everything was crazy. That was on Friday 24th Sept. The following morning Tom received a special ‘next day delivery’ from Chris Evans! In it was a brilliant photo of Chris holding up David’s little card, a birthday card with a message from Chris Evans, he’d also signed two BluRay DVD covers with a little message on each for David. On one it said ‘FLAME ON!’ and was signed and on the other it said ‘DREAM BIG, BUDDY’ and was also signed.
It was David’s birthday yesterday. When he saw the card from Chris he read it, looked up, read it again, asked us to read it for him then he just stared at it grinning just repeating, ‘‘really? not really! really? is it real?’’ When we told him what had happened he started to tremble a bit, ran to his room, ran back again and basically didn’t know where to put himself. He had actually seen the photo before his birthday but we’ve now had it framed and he knew about nothing else. For the rest of the day he kept running back to the card and picture to look at them for the millionth time. We haven’t been allowed to play the DVDs yet as they have to stay on display and no-one’s allowed to touch them. When he’d gone to bed at the end of the day, we were tidying the mess up and had a big panic because we couldn’t find the photo! We were just getting desperate when David’s older sister had an idea. She checked under his pillow and it was there! {x}
This made me cry. I need to go to bed.
oh my god
Chris Evans you are an angel
I seriously cannot handle Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston anymore.
my friend and I actually had a Cumberbatch Catharsis moment for approximately three or four hours today. It consisted of saving images of him on my computer while we both yelled at the screen in physics class, and screaming and sobbing about him in her car.
have you ever disliked something or someone so much that whenever you see it/them in any manifestation that you began to seethe with anger and heat begins to produce throughout your entire body replacing the circulation of your blood with magma hot enough to fuel the fires of hell

Sometimes I watch Sherlock and see Benedict with his deep black hair, his impossibly small waist, his indecently gorgeous swagger and his voice like melted chocolate and forget that he is, in actual fact, the dorkiest thing in all of Britain.
